In the midst of her efforts to survive, Roz encounters a family of geese who have suffered a tragic loss. An orphaned baby goose is left behind, and Roz decides to take responsibility for its care. Although Roz is a machine, she instinctively begins to act like a parent to the young goose, learning how to feed it, keep it warm, and protect it from the island’s dangers.
